Waterways Relaxation app was created by a counselor who realized while she worked in a men’s prison, that an interactive mobile activity using digital nature imagery can be soothing to those who can’t access nature.

Alisa Adams has 20 years experience working as a counselor in a variety of settings.

Take a deep breath in as the water crests and exhale as your image is washed away.

As you continue to write numbers in the sand and watch them wash away,

think to yourself calm, relaxed, ready, and peace.

Feel your feet on the ground. Feel your back against the chair.

Choose to listen to audio ocean waves, mute the audio, and even play your own music from another app.
